DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the National Holiday Juneteenth in Saginaw we will have a Juneteenth Father’s Day Parade\, downtown 8:00am-11:00am. The celebration continues with the Juneteenth Festival in Morley Plaza downtown\, Saginaw from 1:00pm-6:00pm. \n*Juneteenth\, short for ‘June Nineteenth’ marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston\, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure all enslaved people are freed.
