Parent Cafés are safe spaces for parents and caregivers to relax, reflect, and talk about the joys and challenges of raising a family. Parent Cafés are judgment-free zones where we share experiences and resources while learning from one another.  We’ll learn more about ourselves, our parenting, and how to build our families’ resilience!

We’ll be having a series of five Parent Cafés, and you can come to one or all of them!

Please note:  We have a morning and an evening session on each date, and both of the Parent Cafés on the same date have the same topic and discussion.  For that reason, it’s best not to plan to attend the morning and evening Parent Café on the same day.

• Bring your kids!  The Parent Cafés will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum, so your kids can play while you attend the Parent Café!  We’ll have plenty of childcare volunteers to watch and play with the kids while you get some grownup time.

• We’ll have food!  The morning session will have snacks, and the evening sessions will provide dinner for you and your family!

• Win prizes!  We’ll be raffling off gift cards, books, admission to the Discovery Museum, and other goodies!

• Make money!  We’re offering a $30 stipend for all parents/caregivers who participate, and we’re also reimbursing for your mileage to get there!
