This years event will be along Water Street and Center Avenue. We have a competition for youth (ages 7-12), teens (ages 13-17) and adults (18+). Artists will be out competing in the streets to see who is this years winner of the Bay City Chalk Walk Festival. Each artist will create their own art piece on the streets of Downtown Bay City, Michigan. Artists are encouraged to create fun interactive and visually dynamic pieces using chalk to create their art. We will have a limited supply of Eternity Chalk available for artists to try and chalk and supplies for sale at Studio 23/The Arts Center.

This year we will be welcoming to the stage Cameron Munholland, Hiding Salem, and The JR Band! Check out our event schedule to see when these fantastic bands are rocking the stage!

Check out our play zone in Wenonah Park which will feature chalk for creating your own drawing, bubbles, games, face painting, free projects and more!

There will be a free Paint ‘N’ Take at Studio 23/The Arts Center from 12–5 p.m. Thanks to Click Shark and Dick Blick up to 200 community members will be able to create their own masterpiece.
