“Gone in Ten Minutes” Cheesy Potatoes

It’s usually a telltale sign that a dish has been well received when it’s been entirely consumed in a quarter of the time that it took to make it.  Since the very first time I made these cheesy potatoes they have been a family favorite.  And not only do they taste delicious, but they are incredibly simple to make, calling for only 6 ingredients that most people will already have stored away in their cupboards!  This dish makes a great compliment to a multitude of meals, and is also ideal for potluck family gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Defrost hash browns
  2. Combine ingredients in a large bowl, and mix thoroughly
  3. Pour mixture into 3-quart casserole dish
  4. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes
