Schomaker Farms and Saginaw 4-H Michigan State University are teaming up to offer a 12-month farm education learning series in 2024. Each month will offer a different learning topic and hands-on activity. Youth will be fully immersed in the farming experience!

Date: October 10
Time: 5:45-6:45pm
Pumpkins – Take a hayride to the pumpkin field. Pick and paint or carve a pumpkin.
Date: November 7
Time: 5:45-6:45pm
Sheep – Learn about sheep. Interact with sheep. Make a wool dryer ball – what goes in the dryer with your clothes.
Date: December 5
Time: 5:45-6:45pm
Winter Growing – with the weather turning cold outside, it’s time to move inside! Learn what plants you can grow in the winter and enjoy a take home plant or herb.
