Description: Whether someone is a first-time parent or a seasoned expert, caring for a newborn can be overwhelming. Newborn Parenting Support Group is available to help parents/caregivers through this transition.

• Led by experienced childbirth educators, the Newborn Parenting Support Group covers a variety of topics. Discussions focus on the needs of group members as they adjust to their baby and new role as parents and caregivers. Topics include physical and emotional changes after giving birth, infant nutrition, breastfeeding tips, ways to soothe your baby, infant sleep, and developmental milestones for the first year. Expectant parents and parents/caregivers with an infant up to 12 months of age are welcome to attend.  Newborn Parent Support Group meets on Thursdays from 1pm-2:30pm. The group meets at Memorial Presbyterian, 1310 Ashman Street. Please use the entrance located on Allen Street. We will meet in the Parlor Room.
