$10Dr. Gregory Wirth, Michigan native now scientist and engineer who worked on the new James Webb Space Telescope, offers a stunning visual presentation about how NASA’s latest hi-tech marvel is revolutionizing modern astronomy. From unveiling the secrets of nearby planets to unlocking the mysteries of the most distant galaxies, the James Webb Space Telescope has become an unparalleled “discovery machine” for astronomers. Greg will also give us a preview of the next great space observatory, the Roman Space Telescope, due to be launched in 2027, which will image exoplanets and look for evidence of Dark Matter and Dark Energy.
