For this Family Event, adults and children may work together or individually to create 3D representations of your favorite books, scenes, or characters! Using a combination of recycled materials and paper circuitry supplies or fairy lights, your custom book nook will be the perfect addition to any shelf!
Spend time engaging creatively on an open-ended project as a group! We will give you an overview of the project and/or process offering instructions and examples as close to 9AM as possible. The rest of the time is yours to engage, connect, and create! Feel free to stay the entire time or take off early if that best meets your families’ needs.
The registration fee covers two adults and up to three children registration along with materials needed for the project. Some events are more experiential and some will result in a project that can be taken home. Facilitated by Center Staff members and supported by STEM Education Scholars, this event is meant for K-8 students and families. Please contact Amanda Cornwell at
