An event every week that begins at 3:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until March 31, 2022
The SVSU Writing Center provides free sessions to community members at Butman-Fish Public Library on Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. beginning January 13, 2022.
Anyone interested in meeting with an SVSU Writing Center tutor may walk in, but to ensure tutors will not already be occupied with another writer, we do recommend booking an appointment at www.svsu.edu/writingcenter/communityengagement.
In a Writing Center session, writers can talk to a tutor about:
- How to begin working on a document or presentation
- Ways to revise a writing project, such as a resume or short story
- Ideas for further development
