Used coffee beans are wet, ground up, and useless, right? Wrong!
Most people don’t realize that coffee grounds actually have a great purpose, other than filling the trashcan. Rather than throwing away used beans, REuse them! Because they are high in nitrogen, coffee grounds are a perfect fertilizer for gardens, and compost piles. Simply spread the used grounds around your plants, or mix them with water, fill a spray bottle, and spritz it on the houseplant’s soil.
Your plants will love this extra boost of nutrients, and your wallets will be thankful too!
