A few more products to add to your cleaning collection… This should pretty much complete your needs. Well other than the DIY Dishwashing Detergent… I have yet to master this, so if anyone has a good recipe, please pass it onto GLBM.

DIY Febreeze
What you’ll need:
a small spray bottle
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol or vodka
essential oil
1 cup water

Fill the spray bottle with 1 cup water and 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol or vodka.

You’ll now add the essential oils – I typically start with 30 drops and then work my way up. You can also mix oils to create custom scents. I also like using The Body Shop home fragrance oils in this mix and I’ve had no problems with them.

Homemade Foaming Hand Soap
Ingredients:
1/4 parts peppermint scented castille soap (or plain)
3/4 parts distilled water
a few (2-3) drops peppermint essential oil (or tea tree for disinfecting)
a foaming soap dispenser

Method:
Mix soap and water. Drop in and mix in oils. Pour into a foaming soap dispenser. That’s IT!

Homemade Carpet Stain Remover

Ingredients:
Hydrogen Peroxide
Blue Dawn Dishsoap
Old Toothbrush
Washcloth
Cleaning Gloves (optional)

1 cup of Hydrogen Peroxide and a “few” drops of blue Dawn Dishsoap mixed together… well what’s a few? Use an old toothbrush to scrub the stain… or washcloth.
