Songs:

“Five Little Turkeys”

Five little turkeys standing at the door,
One waddled off, and then there were four.

Four little turkeys sitting near a tree,
One waddled off, and then there were three.

Three little turkeys with nothing to do,
One waddled off, and then there were two.

Two little turkeys in the morning sun,
One waddled off, and then there was one.

One little turkey better run away,
For soon it will be Thanksgiving Day.

“Funny Turkey”

The turkey is a funny bird
Its head goes bobble-bobble;

And all he knows is just one word…
And that is GOBBLE-GOBBLE!

Activities:

.:A Thankful Tree :.

This is a really neat activity to create as a family. Each-day add a leaf with something written on it that you are thankful for. Then they can tape it up on the tree for all to see. By the end of the month, you will have a beautiful tree that is filled with not only pretty fall leaves ,but also all of your families thankful thoughts.

What You Need:

  • Brown butcher paper for the tree.
  • Paper leaves of various colors
  •  Painter’s tape

.:Bread Basket:.

I found this idea on Pinterest, of course, and I’m so excited for the boys and I to make it for their Great-Grandma for Thanksgiving! I’m going to pick up a little basket and fabric paint from Michael’s and some burlap from JoAnne Fabrics. So cute! 🙂
