I can remember getting this sweet poem in my Easter basket as a young girl. I loved it then, and I love it now. It is a reminder of what Easter is really about.
Red is for the blood he gave.
Green is for the grass he made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace he gave.
Purple is for his hour of sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.

Activity: Countdown To Easter!
This activity is fun and easy! Use 12 plastic Easter eggs to fill an empty egg carton. With number stickers or rub-ons, number each egg from 1-12. As each day passes by, remove one egg. You may even consider stuffing the eggs with little goodies, so that each day, the little tykes get more excited about Easter.
What You Need:
