Spring Break is coming! If your family is staying in Michigan for Spring Break this year, consider trying the Michigan Activity Pass (MAP)! MAP is a program that lets you print FREE or discounted admission passes (or other exclusive offers) with your public library card to hundreds of Michigan state parks, campgrounds, museums, trails, arts & cultural destinations, and more! It is an awesome service for exploring the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Local kid-friendly destinations participating in the Michigan Activity Pass include:

  • Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum (aka the USS Edson)
  • BaySail/Appledore Tall Ships
  • Bay City State Park
  • Castle Museum of Saginaw County History
  • Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum (Saginaw)
  • Saginaw Art Museum (Saginaw)
  • Michigan Heroes Museum (Frankenmuth)

With over 400 participating locations throughout Michigan, there is always a new destination to try! MAP allows you to check out one pass every 7 days with your library card number. Spring Break might not be long enough to make it to all of them but there is always summer vacation too!
