Car Safety Kit

Although my car safety kit is admittedly less extreme than Aunna’s, of aunnajames.blogspot.com, it does include the essentials, and that is all you need, in order to also make your own.

Similar to Aunna’s, I did reuse an empty wipe container.  It is the perfect size for easy, under-the-seat storage, and quick access, when needed.  The container can then be decorated, if so desired, and filled with emergency items for road trips, or other travels.

There is no exact list of items which must be included in this car safety kit – it is your personalized kit, tailored to your (and your kids!) needs.  For helpful ideas though, check out Aunna’s blog, or refer to my checklist below:

Cardinali Car Safety Kit:

  • Bandaids of all sizes and colors
  • Pain reliever
  • Sunscreen
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Suckers
  • Wipes
  • An extra diaper for each child
  • Extra hair ties for the girls

I keep my safety kit under my seat in the back, so the kids don’t even know its there.  It’s great to know I have just a few extra supplies, in case I need them, and that the kids won’t be able to get into it, unbeknownst to me.  Because it takes only a few minutes to assemble, and requires no extra purchases, I highly recommend this tip for any mother, especially those who are often on the road.
